It’s that time of year again! Fresh Artists is pleased to announce our 14th annual grant cycle to give free art supplies to full-time art teachers in schools where 70% or more of the students qualify for Free and Reduced-price Lunches. We’ve been working all year, raising funds to provide new, quality art supply kits to fill your shelves, refresh your classroom, and make sure your students have supplies to work with at home or at school. This year we're doing something a little different to best serve all teachers, whether you're teaching in person or remotely.

Young Curators Design Adult Show for Philadelphia Open Studio Tours (POST)

The 4 young curators from the Arts Academy at Benj Rush, Parkway Center City, and CCP had a wonderful time on Saturday assessing and they reviewed the Call for Entries that Fresh Artists issued to all artists in Scotts Mill and held each submission up to the guidelines of the title, “Playfulness." Then they staged them on the Alley Gallery walls.

Cool Jobs Expo hit by freaky snowstorm; will be reprised Oct 2, 3, and 4!

Day #1 of Cool Jobs ‘18, was Tuesday, March 20th, and marked the first day of spring. But that didn’t stop a wicked Nor’easter from blowing into town that night, bringing snow and a raft of school closings. No schools – no kids. We had to cancel the last two days of Cool Jobs. But the Expo will be reprised October 2, 3 and 5.
