Palates to Palettes is coming back!
Two Philadelphia K-8 schools are collaborating this year to bring Palates to Palettes to their students: George W. Nebinger Elementary School and St. Peter’s School.
The two near neighbors are fielding a team of 30 kids to explore the intersection of fine art and culinary masterpieces. The kids will work together for six months to visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art and a fine dining restaurant to learn about careers in art, design, culinary arts and hospitality management.
The program this year is possible through the generosity of several wonderful partners:
- Bistrot La Minette,
- Drexel University’s School of Culinary Arts & Food Science and Hospitality Management
- Barbara Bassett, Education Curator at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and
- Photographer Jason Varney
