Not only were bulbs bursting in Pablo's Pocket Park, a new addition to the East Falls Studio. Visitors visited, and we did some visiting ourselves -- creating new installations and being honored by others. It's been a busy spring! Here are a few snapshots of what we've been up to.

• Look what fun Fresh Artists teachers are having in Pablo's Pocket Park! We're so grateful to the many friends who've made this garden possible: Primex Garden Center The Home Depot and BehrPaint

• Bernadette Motley (manager of the Ridley Park Home Depot) and her family spent a fun afternoon doing Behr Paint Chip Art. The deck where the Motley's spent time was made with lumber donated by Home Depot! 

• Rachel Kaffey, a senior at Wissahickon HS, spent 3 months doing her graduate service project with us, organizing and packing hundreds of Chip Kits and clothesline art sale kits to give away to art teachers nationwide. By our estimation, her work will impact 30,000 kids in schools with cuts to arts funding. Hooray for Rachel!   

• Four hundred students, parents and friends of Norwood-Fontbonne Academy showed up for an Art Gala Friday night, all to benefit Fresh Artists. Kids made art and donated it for silent auction. The Student Council made all the food, dinner and desserts. We're thrilled to have young philanthropic partners!

• Who's that clown (oops! I meant lady) in the middle? With Barbara are Dr. Scott Ikeda, head of the New York Children's Health Fund and Fresh Artists' Jerri Williams. They're at a luncheon with Jane Pauley to benefit the New York Children's Health Fund. Fun, eh?

• Roger is showing new assistant Josh James the in's and out's of our wonderful Mutoh hybrid flatbed printer in preparation for an installation at the National Board of Medical Examiners. So grateful to Mutoh America for the donation of this awesome printer!
